The Year Two Thousand Fifteen

Abstain from schadenfreude.
Do good. All the time.
Say, “Thank you.”
Give and receive graciously.
Take another step.
Accept the bouts with the fears and the doubts.
Seek out opportunities to bestow genuine compliments, and give away those compliments free of charge.
Share the wealth, and share the load.
Share the road.
Celebrate the victories of others.
Wish total strangers good luck.
Go ahead and get started.
(Tell that lie named Perfection to go take a flying fuck.)
Count your blessings.
Get back up.
Keep hands and heart and mind open.
Do not feel obligated to accept other people’s emotional state.
Search for the solutions where everyone wins.
Be kind.
Sing for your friends.
Dance another year around the sun.

What a wonderful poem to find after you did exactly this on the plane! Thanks for a great conversation yesterday.
